Meet Our Team

At Thorne Property Management, our greatest resource is our team of specialized individuals who are always ready to serve our clients. Our team consists of several licensed managers, as well as a dedicated accounting team, and other skilled administrative professionals. Many of our team members are introduced below.

 


Susan Size, ACCI, FCCI, CMOC – Senior Condominium Manager (Retired)
Susan was a senior manager at Thorne since the mid 1980s, until her retirement in 2022. She believes in education, customer service, and the great contributions by condominium directors in providing their condominium communities with support and guidance. She embraces challenges and particularly enjoys project planning. Susan has taught extensively on condominium management, written articles, and considers herself very fortunate to have made so many solid relationships with the people who serve condominium communities as directors, advisors, and contractors. She is still contributing to the condominium industry even in her retirement by continuing to educate the next generation of condominium managers.

 

 


Rosemary Leroy, OLCM – Senior Condominium Manager
Rosemary has been involved with condominium management since the late 1990s. She attained her RCM designation in 2004, and went on to teach several of the college-level courses in both Ontario and Alberta, that are now required for licensing by the CMRAO. She has been published in CM Magazine as the lead cover article. On a daily basis, Rosemary conducts herself with the respect that comes from a solid foundational belief that condos are, first and foremost, homes.

 

 


Paul Baxter, RCM, ACCI, OLCM – Senior Condominium Manager
Paul has held his General License, RCM, and ACCI accreditations since 2017. Coming from an extensive hospitality background, Paul’s project and time management, understanding of governance, as well as client service standards continue to prove to be valuable assets in his role of serving condominium communities. Through various experiences on industry, municipal, and provincial committees, boards, and councils, Paul’s understanding and appreciation for process will ensure his residents, unit owners, boards and corporations will receive a high level of efficient and qualified services.

 

 


Cassandra Clause, OLCM – Condominium Manager
Cassandra has been with Thorne Property Management since 2019, and holds her General License. She assists with a number of properties across the Thorne Property Management portfolio.

 

 


Sarah O’Leary, OLCM-L – Assistant Condominium Manager
Sarah graduated from Fanshawe College and holds her Limited License. She has expertise in administration and management. Sarah has worked with boards of directors for several years and brings with her a passion for solving problems and going the extra mile for clients. To make a powerhouse team, she and Sean work tirelessly to tackle any and all issues that arise within their condos to make for a happy and prosperous group of communities. She continuously strives to learn and grow, and is on her way to a General License in the near future!

 

 


Accounting and Administrative

Mark Size, RCM, ACCI, OLCM – Chief Financial Officer
Mark has been working at Thorne Property Management since he was in university in the early 2000s, and first showed a keen interest in the structures and long-term financial health of condominium corporations. He obtained his RCM and ACCI designations, and now oversees our accounting department, which includes corporate reporting, liaising with our accountant, and much more. Over the years, Mark has developed an understanding and appreciation for the evolving complexities of the work, and enjoys the financial planning parts of project management, working on software initiatives to improve workflow and reporting, and finding new ways to support all of our different types of clients.

 

 


Sam Roelans, OLCM – Operations Manager
Sam holds a General License with the CMRAO, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Brock University. She joined Thorne Property Management in 2017, in order to help navigate the changes to the Condominium Act that were coming into effect at that time. Since then, Sam has continued to direct the government compliance of our clients, while learning many other aspects of the business. She uses this experience to help the different areas of the company work together smoothly. Sam enjoys the great deal of variety that her position entails, including Sales & Marketing, HR, Legal, Accounting, IT, and a little bit of everything in between!

 

 


Sarah Gaudet, OLCM-L – Account Manager
Sarah has been a member of the Thorne Property Management team since August 2011. Bringing with her years of experience in customer service and office administration settings, she began as an office assistant, and later a financial administrator, handling the accounts payable and receivable, and offering assistance to others in her department. In her current role, she continues those responsibilities in addition to facilitating the administration of status certificates, ownership transfers, and continued support for her colleagues. At home, Sarah enjoys a life full of music, Conan O’Brien podcasts, gardening, baking, and family jam nights. Sarah welcomes any clients and unit owners who are also Oasis fans, to join her in a lively debate about which Gallagher brother is superior.

 

 


Dakota Daley, OLCM-L – Accounting Assistant
Dakota is a graduate of Fanshawe College, who attained his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 2019. His past work experience includes tutoring in Math and English, as well as an accounting co-op position with Thorne Property Management in 2018. Dakota came back to Thorne Property Management in 2020, and his current responsibilities include invoice payment and accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and various other accounting-related tasks.

 

 


Natasha De Sousa, OLCM-L- Compliance Administrator
Natasha graduated from Fanshawe College in 2018 with her Law Clerk diploma, and she joined Thorne Property Management in 2021. Her current responsibilities include distributing compliance documents to our clients, maintaining databases, ensuring all necessary documents are up-to-date and organized, and furthermore providing assistance and support to the entire Thorne Property Management team. At home, Natasha enjoys watching a movie, watching her favourite NHL team the Toronto Maple Leafs, listening to Crime Junkie podcasts, and spending time with her family.

 

 


Connie Venturin, OLCM – Development Assistant
Connie holds her General License, and has worked in the industry since 2014, where she has gained expertise in all aspects of both condominium and residential management. She possesses an exceptional work ethic and is committed to providing superior customer service to clients.
